SPRINT-print’s unique digital print presses allow for low and high volume production of personalised mailers, booklets, brochures, catalogues, stationery and books. Digital printing allows the client the opportunity to buy in much smaller quantities without incurring the expense of plates and origination costs.
Can SPRINT-print design and typeset my project?
No, we are Digital Printers to the Core! we do not offer this service in-house, we just offer an editing/retouching and setup service. If you are unable to provide us with print ready PDF files then we can recommend Design Agency or Publishing Houses who can prepare your files to the highest print ready standard. Please contact us for their details.
What files does SPRINT-print accept?
We accept all standard industry formats, however our preferred format is a print ready PDF saved as:
one single file set up in page order (excluding the cover or jacket)
with fonts embedded (see our guide to the right on how to check this)
with crop-marks selected so we know where to trim your text once it is printed
(ensure that you are using a CMYK workflow – if using Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress)
How should I supply my files to SPRINT-print?
You can supply your files on a CD/DVD or a USB Key, alternatively you can use for small files e-mail attachments. We recommend though the use of on-line file transfer websites – e.g. SendSpace (drag and drop and no need to open an account).
What proofs does SPRINT-print supply?
For most projects, including Corporate Brochures and Books we provide one only (non laminated) printed proof of the cover and a text proof for the internal.
Does SPRINT-print deliver the printed product?
Depending of the job. Most of the time yes, free of charge to one point in Dublin and beyond… We will let you know before we go to print.
